Young artist MgA. Filip Dobias graduated in 2014 from Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague under the direction of Doc. Ak. Soch. Rony Plesl. Before long he succeeded in gaining a preeminent position on the contemporary glassmaking scene in our country and in Japan, where a solo exhibition was arranged for him by gallery T. I. G. A.

Already, during his studies (2014), he had won a Ludwig Moser Award (first place in the Universities category).

Filip Dobias (1990) and master glass cutter David Gabera (1976) recently established the brand Crystal Creative. In their production they specialise in cut-glass objects of superior quality, keeping alive a tradition of 400 years, which is being maintained by a small percentage of master craftsmen nowadays. They view art as a silent confession with no boundaries or limitations – always conveying sheer joy of creation.
